Addiction Professionals Program

The Tree House Addiction Professional Training Program was built to provide you with the best foundation possible to begin your career in substance abuse treatment.

The Addiction Professionals Program has two phases:

Phase I 3 months

Phase II 3 months

Phase I will expose you to a basic education in all skills necessary to begin a successful career in substance abuse treatment. By the end of this phase you will have:

-Enrolled and completed CADC schooling through a CCAP approved school

-Enrolled and completed your Personal Trainer Certification through ISSA or NASM

-Enrolled and completed your Cognitive Behavioral l Therapy Certification

-An education in best practices for clinical documentation

-An education in case management

-HIPPA training certification

-RAD T enrollment

-An education in treatment planning

-Accumulation of supervision hours to apply to your portfolio for the state

-Been exposed to the substance abuse treatment environment to determine what you want to do in the field

-Hands on training at the top addiction treatment centers in the nation

-Staff consider you for Phase II

Yes, that is true. During Phase I your class will be assessed in different areas of work and engagement. The top of your class will be invited to participate in Phase II

The purpose of this phase is to prepare you for a career with us. In this phase you will receive a more focused education specific to opening and running one of our centers. To participate in phase 2 you must be:

Able to commit to 3 additional months of training

This phase has 3 parts to it that happen concurrently:

Part 1 Clinical Training

During Part 1 you will be engaging in coursework taught by our National Director and one of Americas top addiction treatment professionals. The coursework includes a practicum where you will learn how to treat clients using the Tree House Method. The coursework will show you how to apply what you have learned in Phase I in real time. You will learn how to plan and develop physical training sessions that work in conjunction with clinical therapy.

Part 2 Legal and Compliance

During Part 2 one of our instructors will walk you through the application and licensing process needed to open a treatment center.

Part 3 Representing our Brand

During part 3 you will be spending time with Tree House Academy’s CMO to learn what it takes to live up to the Tree House brand and about the the basic branding and marketing requirements needed to work for Tree House

Successful completion of phase 2 will result in you being offered a once in a lifetime opportunity to open and run one of our new locations

We are offering full medical and dental insurance, assistance with relocation and moving expenses, a starting salary of 80K per year, with an upward range over six figures.

Yes, training with us is an excellent addition to your resume. Having exposure to our work and methods will make you highly valuable wherever you go.

Also worth mentioning is that although you will not be considered to run one of our centers if you dont get invited to Phase II you will have the opportunity to apply for a position as a counselor at one of our locations.

Although our best outcome is that you complete Phase II of the training and join our team, we at Tree House Academy and Research Institute cannot make any specific guarantees regarding employment. However, our primary goal is to hire everyone who graduates from Phase II

Some of our students are from the area and will choose to live in their own home while others may wish to live in housing provided for by us. Each class will be different and the individual needs of the class will dictate what is available to you as a team.

THARI recommends that you are not working elsewhere in order to be as flexible with your schedule as possible, however we understand that spending 6 months without employment has challenges. If you need to work and can make it fit within our required schedule commitments you are welcome to do so.

Our online portal was set up to make the process simple and efficient for you and will walk your through a step by step process to submit your full application. You will be required to do through assessments that consider cognitive abilities and personality profile. Along with these assessments you will need to fill out our online application. APPLY NOW

Although we will still consider your application we STRONGLY encourage you to wait for a cycle that has a location you are interested in opening.

Absolutely! THARI is looking for people with a rich history of life experience first and experience in the field second. Some of our best counselors and therapists best assets that made them fit for this work were things like military experience, coaching, teaching, or a history of working with people in challenging environments. We want this. If you are motivated to help people, excited by the challenges of understanding human beings and their motivations and love the feeling of coming home at night knowing that your life has meaning and purpose than this work is perfect for you

Although we do not have a Grad school supervisor onsite, we have, in the past helped Graduate students integrate their own self selected supervisor into our environment. If this is you, know that it is possible but we expect you to do the footwork

If you have already completed an accredited online school or currently have your CADC you do not have to do it again. We will require proof of course completion from your school in order to be exempt from this part of the program will be able to use your time with us to focus on acquiring supervision hours. You will however still be required to enroll in both the Personal Trainer online school as well as a CBT training school

Leave that up to us. We are highly selective about who admit into the Addiction Professionals Program. We will be assessing you for phase 2 from the moment you arrive at our campus. We encourage you to give it your all, work hard, and take every opportunity to show us what you are capable of
